Introducing the Nike Basketball Christmas Collection

Festive inspired sneaks are everywhere at the moment with many of the major brands dropping pairs just in time for the holiday season. Now we have the latest unveiling of Nike’s hugely anticipated basketball Christmas collection. Taking inspiration from the elements of fire and ice, the brand celebrates the cold weather of winter and the heat of on-the-court action.

Nike’s signature shoes will lead the way in the collection with Kobe Bryant, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and LeBron James each taking on their own unique theme. The Kobe X Elite includes five golden rings to the heel, a nod to the athletes impressive career, whilst a multicolour Flyknit along the toe provides a vibrant pop of colour.

The Nike KD 8 takes on a different look, with a white upper combing with red and black mixed graphics. It sits on a cracked midsole design which symbolises the look of coal. The Kyrie 2 silhouette pulls inspiration from the abominable snowman, showcasing a ziz-zag pattern on the strap to symbolises the creatures teeth. An icy outsole finishes the look perfectly.

Finally, we have the LeBron 13 which takes on the harsh winter colours of the American Midwest complete with snowy whites and ice blue. Finishing the unique look, an ice-inspired ’13’ branding is featured on the heel.
